Que the long siiiiiiiighhh—Trey Songz reportedly hosted a 500-person event at a nightclub on Saturday. Which seems like a very very very terrible idea considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic.
According to People, the indoor “Champagne Saturdays” event was held at Ohio nightclub called Aftermath, and attendees allegedly didn’t wear masks, didn’t social distance, and did share drinks.Â

The club received citations from the Ohio Investigative Unit, and the case is now with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. The club has been temporarily shut down, and further potential repercussions include fines and the suspension/revocation of the club’s liquor permit.
According to a press release from the Ohio Investigative Unit, agents who showed up at the event saw “egregious violations of health orders as approximately 500 people inside attended a concert.” The press release also added that “Agents observed patrons standing, walking freely and sharing alcoholic beverages directly from the same bottle as they were passed between groups.”

Trey Songz himself hasn’t commented on the event, but in October he confirmed he’d tested positive for COVID-19, saying at the time: “I’ve always taken it serious. If you come in contact with COVID, please do the same. Please do the same. Don’t be like the president.” Oh really Trey? Is that so?Â
