“You have 24 hours to surrender,”

Caprice, whose actual name is Ariz Ramli is a Malaysian rapper, lyricist, producer, businessman and motivational speaker. Recently, the 32-year-old rapper was seen offering RM5,000 to the members of the public who were able to provide information on an alleged scammer that has been impersonating a seller for his products. Caprice took to his Instagram account to say that anyone who provides information or, better yet, captures the culprit will be compensated.

“RM5,000 cash reward for those who can catch this scammer who has scammed a lot of people by impersonating as my hoodies’ reseller and now the Caprice’s Baju Raya line.”

Caprice also wrote as a caption in one of his posts:

“I’m also asking for those who have been scammed by this man to file in a police report immediately and forward the report to me.”

Caprice also mentioned that this wasn’t the first time the alleged scammer has committed this kind of offence.

“He’s been scamming people since 2019. He lied about selling cats, lied about selling products, lied about cars. But today, you messed with the wrong guy bro,” Caprice warned.

Netizens responded in masses, mostly showing embarrassment as the Xde Hal Bro rapper showed evidence of the suspect’s past illegal work. Clearly, this was not his first rodeo.

The top comment reads: “Having fun using haram money, imagine if your child gets scammed like that, what would you feel”

The bottom one: “What an embarrassment to the Masai (Town in Johor) people, you are,”

This sharp comment reads: “Even during Ramadhan you’re doing bad things, if you’re poor just become a beggar! It’s more embarrassing to be caught cheating people than begging.”

The rapper made it clear that he does not tolerate scammers and people who make a fast and cheap buck.

Hopefully, we can all learn from this incident. It’s best to make a living doing good things. Especially during the month of Ramadhan, these sort of things should not be happening. We hope Caprice has settled things legally with the police and justice has been served.
