Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the revival faced delays.
The show will follow a group of students in a new show that will take place eight years after the end of the original Gossip Girl. While Kristen Bell is returning as the voice of the never-seen blogger, executive producer Josh Schwartz made it clear that character Dan Humphrey isn’t to blame for the new gossip swirling around the Upper East Side of New York City.
