Looks like we come bearing bad news. Fans would have to savour next week’s episode of Riverdale because according to one of the writers of the show you won’t be getting a new one for quite a while. After episode 10, The Pincushion Man will be out on March 31st, as the show will be going on a hiatus until July 7th!

Riverdale will not be airing any other future episode for almost three and a half months. It’s a regular operating style for TV shows to take a mid-season hiatus, and Riverdale usually takes a month-long one in January or December. However, take the time to rewatch older seasons as to when it does finally return we’re going to get nine more action-packed episodes, including episode 12, which Ted Sullivan, a writer on the show, said is his favorite of the season.

“No one will guess why,” he tweeted about his love for episode 12. “It’s a break-the-mold episode. You’ll understand when you see it. It’s inspired by two of my favorite movies. And no – it’s not a Barchie/Varchie/Choni/Bughead ep. But it does a deep dive into the legacy of the show and motivation for the entire series.”
Easily Ep 12. By far.
