Have you got your popcorn stash restocked? Because you’re gonna be in for not one, not two, but three movie adaptations from the cult classic ‘Fear Street’ series by R.L. Stine!
Netflix dropped a new teaser for their upcoming horror fest trilogy which are set to debut on the streaming device this July. We are promised “three movies, three weeks, one killer story,” where all the films will unpack the terrifying activities that plagued a small town in 1994, 1978 and 1666.
A description by Netflix revealed the premise of the trilogy as,
“In 1994, a group of teenagers find out that the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected — and that they may be the next targets. Based on R.L. Stine’s best-selling horror series, the trilogy follows the nightmare through Shadyside’s sinister history.”
And guess who will be headlining the first film of the trilogy (Fear Street: Part One — 1994)? It’s Maya Hawke from Stranger Things!

For the second movie, the horror begins at Camp Nightwing where campers and counsellors must band together to solve a terrifying mystery before it’s too late. Called ‘Fear Street: Part Two — 1978’, it features yet another ‘Stranger Things’ star, Sadie Sink.

While it’s still too early to find out much about the third film, we do know that it’s called ‘Fear Street: Part Three — 1666’ and it tells the story of a colonial town that is gripped by a hysterical witch-hunt that will directly impact the centuries to come.
We cannot wait!
