Piers Morgan shows that his loyalty to GB News knows no boundaries.
A famous Swedish furniture brand “suspended” their advertisement with the news channel following claims that their commercials were aired on the platform “without their knowledge.” This didn’t sit right with the 56-year-old television personality, who was less than impressed with the giant brand’s decision to withdraw their paid display advertising.
“IKEA has not knowingly advertised on GB News. We have safeguards in place to prevent our advertising from appearing on platforms that are not in line with our humanistic values and vision to side with the many people.

However, the retailer insisted they are in the process of investigating “how this may have occurred to ensure it won’t happen again in [the] future”, but the former Good Morning Britain host labelled their act of distancing themselves from the station as “pathetic”. But the giant Swedish retailer isn’t the only brand that has pulled their advertising from GB News — at least four other major brands have also retracted their advertising within 48 hours over content concerns.
Known for his honest statements, Morgan parted ways from Good Morning Britain after making controversial comments about Duchess Meghan Markle’s mental health.
“Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain,” ITV had said. “ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”
This came after a clip played of Markle revealing that she struggled with suicidal thoughts is played, to which Morgan said,
“I don’t believe a word she says, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report.”
He has also agreed with rock star Noel Gallagher when the latter calls Prince Harry a “woke snowflake”. He took to his Twitter account to say,
Brilliant interview… thank God there are still stars like @NoelGallagher who speak their mind, don’t care who gets ‘offended’ & never whine about how awful their pampered privileged lives are. More please. 👏👏 https://t.co/OtJsvVwnz1
