Former M’sian Diplomat & Son Caught with Over 100 Ganja Trees Growing in Home Compound

While our neighbour in Thailand plans to distribute one million free cannabis plants to their citizens, we have seen a surge of cases where Malaysians are being arrested for growing their own ganja tree. And this father-son duo is no exception…

According to The Star, a 78-year-old former diplomat and his 53-year-old son have been arrested following the discovery of about 100 ganja trees growing in their house compound in Janda Baik, Pahang.

It is learnt that the former diplomat was detained during a raid on Saturday (21 May) while the son was detained in Shah Alam on Monday (23 May).

The police raided the house at about 6 pm on Saturday and discovered up to 100 plants believed to be marijuana trees planted around the property.
