Fox Orders Seasons 33 and 34 of the Animated Sitcom

There may come a point where new episodes of The Simpsons are no longer airing on Fox, but it definitely won’t be within the next few years. The network has just ordered two more seasons of the long, long-running animated sitcom.

This renewal ensures the series will remain on the air until at least 2023, bringing the total episode count to 757. The Simpsons currently holds the record for the longest-running primetime scripted series, surpassing the previous record set decades…
