Godzilla vs. Kong has set a new pandemic record at the domestic box office with its opening weekend haul of $48.5 million USD.
The latest film in WB’s MonsterVerse grossed an estimated $120.1 million USD globally from 39 markets (including the U.S. and Canada) in its debut. Internationally, Godzilla vs. Kong opened last weekend, and these new ticket sales have brought the movie’s new worldwide total to $285.4 million USD.
