According to Cheshire police, a search of Manchester United captain Harry Maguire’s home was undertaken after he received a bomb threat on Thursday, just two days after Manchester United’s 4–0 loss to Liverpool, which ended the club’s hopes of finishing in the league’s top four.
According to the BBC, Cheshire Police were alerted to reports of a bomb threat at an address in the Wilmslow area on Wednesday (20 April).
Maguire resides at the said address with his two young children with fiancée, Fern Hawkins.

“There were no evacuations, but a police explosives dog was dispatched to the home today afternoon, Thursday 21 April, to undertake a search of the gardens and surrounding area as a precaution,” said the report.
