Here’s how Singaporeans will be celebrating 2021’s Lunar New Year, Google reveals

The Lunar New Year – or Chinese New Year (CNY) as it’s most commonly referred to in Singapore – will be expectedly and rightfully muted this year. The need for social distancing during the pandemic has all but ensured it.

But muted celebrations doesn’t necessarily mean less of a festive atmosphere. According to Google, Singapore showed no signs of the CNY preparations slowing down and would still go ahead with celebrations albeit in a different way than what most of its citizens are…
