In Historic First, Esports to Be a Medal Event at 2022 Asian Games
For the first time in history, esports has been included as an official medal event at the upcoming 19th Asian Games, which will take place in Hangzhou, China from September 10 to 25, 2022.
According to the The Esports Observer, the announcement was made during the 39th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) that was held in Oman on Wednesday (December 16). However, the list of the video games that will be included in the Games has not been revealed.
