Indonesian president Joko Widodo has recently signed a government regulation allowing a controversial law to run.

The law will allow child molesters to be punished with chemical castration.

In 2016, he signed a Presidential Regulation In Lieu of Law which introduced the death penalty and chemical castration for child molestors.
