The cult classic Squaresoft JRPG Xenogears turns 22 in 2020. Despite its immense popularity, the game has not seen a re-release since its original launch on the PlayStation, which is a disservice to JRPG fans all over the world.
The game was famously pitched as Final Fantasy VII, and when that was rejected, it morphed into an idea for a Chrono Trigger sequel before landing on its feet as its own standalone role-playing experience.
