J Mobile Game Might Just Revive the Series
For a while, the Metal Slug series provided gamers with a solid line of two-player run-and-gun side scrollers, all featuring new explosive weapons and vehicles to pilot, more POWs to rescue, and a variety of foes ranging from despots to aliens to defeat.
While the series has laid dormant for the past eleven years or so, with the exception of ports to modern consoles and PCs, there has not been a new mainline entry in the series since 2010.
