Joseph Gordon-Levitt Talks About His Latest Film Project Power
Fans have been waiting a long time to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt back on screen!
With the latest movie “Power Project” dropping, August 14, Fly’s AM Mayhem had an exclusive interview with the star to chat about the movie, rules he’s ever broken and more!
Project power follows the story of a former soldier (played by Jamie Foxx) that lost his daughter to the villains, and he eventually teams up with a cop (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) to find the source behind a dangerous pill that provides temporary superpowers. But with just five minutes of power comes with unexpected death.
When asked if the actor was similar to his character Frank from the film, “I’ve never committed a crime, I’ve never broken the law, and yeah I play a cop” he said. “On the one hand, he (Frank) loves his city, and he’s doing his best to try and protect the people of New Orleans, but on the other hand he is guilty of temptation. He just wants to see what that power is” Levitt added.
“He is a human, I relate to him in that way, that he’s not perfect, and I definitely am not perfect”
