The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is currently probing a viral video that was published on TikTok depicting a group of men, allegedly foreigners, expressing their support towards politicians in India who had released offensive statements targeting Prophet Muhammad.
In a statement released last night, Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hassan explained that the 1-minute-18-second clip posted by TikTok user @gangarammahato280 was filmed in front of the Batu Caves temple.
The video garnered mass attention, earning over 16,000 views before it was taken down. It is unknown whether the clip was deleted by the user himself or removed by TikTok for violating community guidelines.
Now, only blurred-out and cropped bits and pieces of it exist across social media…
