People with homophobia more likely to have low IQ, research finds

Researchers at the University of Queensland in Australia have drawn up links between individuals with lower intelligent quotient (IQ) levels and those who express prejudiced views against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community.

In a study from 2018, the group examined a sample of more than 11,500 Australians and analyzed data from the 2012 ‘Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia'(HILDA) survey.
