
Petronas says operations at its liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities in Bintulu, Sarawak, remain unaffected following the National Security Council’s (MKN) announcement of a potential security threat.
The national oil company said it is working closely with the authorities to assess and address the situation, stressing that safety remains its top priority.
“At present, there has been no impact on our operations and no disruptions to our supply,” it said in a statement tonight.
“The safety and well-being of our employees, contractors and our surrounding communities continue to be our highest priority.”
