Millions travel to Japan just to experience the beautiful sakura trees blooming every year

But with the COVID-19 epidemic spreading across the world, it may not be the best idea to fly anywhere overseas right now.

However, there is good news! It was reported by Bernama that Malaysia’s very own ‘sakura’ trees have just started to bloom this week!

Every year, these trees will give downtown Alor Setar, Kedah a beautiful splash of pink
Known as tecoma trees (Tabebuia Pentaphylla), they bloom beautiful sakura-looking flowers in pink and white from February to April every year.
