We’re nearing the tail-end of 2020 and it looks like we’ll all be stuck in self-isolation until next year. For the time being at least.

But a new study by the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford has shone light on the surprising benefits of video games on personal wellbeing. I guess staying in isn’t so bad?

The study focused on two specific games – Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville.
