The government may be forced to extend the 14-day restriction of movement order if containing the spread of COVID-19 in Malaysia fails

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced this in a live address last night, 18 March, where he also reminded the public to stay home to protect yourself and your family.

“If in this period we are not completely successful, the government might be forced to extend the control order.”
