Police Looking For COVID-19 Patient Who Ran Away From Tampin Hospital
Tampin district police chief Supt Anuwal Ab Wahab said the patient, a 33-year-old man and former Jelebu Prison inmate, was found missing from his hospital bed at about 11.45 am yesterday.
Sinar Harian reported that the patient is believed to have fled from the hospital by a staircase behind the ward, which is commonly only used to discard garbage.
“He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark green T-shirt,” the police chief told Bernama.
