Samsung Electronics chairman Lee Kun-hee who transformed the brand into a global powerhouse, died on October 25th, 2020. He was 78.
The cause of death is unknown but Lee has a complicated medical history after suffering from a heart attack in 2014. This incident lent him the infamous title of a ‘Hermit King’ as he lived a reclusive, mostly bedridden life ever since.
