Singapore Airlines (SIA) has dismissed its ‘flights to nowhere’ initiative

According to The Straits Times, SIA has abandoned the idea after conducting a market study and review that takes the environmental impact and finances into consideration.

Environmental organisations like the SG Climate Rally opposed the idea and asked for more sustainable alternatives as it encourages “carbon-intensive travel for no good reason”.
