Singaporeans, you might soon have a reason to brag about your food. More specifically, hawker culture.

A panel of 12 cultural experts from all across the globe have confirmed that Singapore’s hawker culture has fulfilled all the criteria needed in order to be inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

If you’re a little confused, it’s like the cultural equivalent of UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list.
