Where my 90s kids at?! I think it’s safe to say that growing up as a 90s baby, Disney Channel’s The Proud Family was one of the most iconic cartoons of the ’00s and, frankly, one of the best cartoon series, period. Which is why when fans caught ear of the news that the series would be coming back, but this time to Disney+. Yes you read that right, there’s a reebbot coming real soon!
Of course, this led to a lot of fans speculating whether or not the characters would be the same age or if it would take place in the future — and if it took place in the future, would the iconic Suga Mama still be alive?! If you ask us, she’s definately coming back, it just wouldn’t be the same without her. However the show did come to a halt in 2005, so it would make sense the characters could be way older.

Disney did release a concept as well as the character’s revamped look, and it’s giving us all the feels. Animation wise the characters look almost similar, just maybe a lottt more crisper quality, all abou that HD life! Our fave little Penny is now an all grown up teenager in high school, who shocker, loves taking selfies. The reboot is also going to have a new title — The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
