Pre-orders for Sony’s new flagship console, the Playstation 5, recently went live amid a lot fanfare in Southeast Asia.

Due to the attractive starting price of US$452 (RM1,869) for the Playstation 5 Digital Edition in Malaysia for instance, the consoles sold like hot cakes. In fact, it sold out within minutes.

But buyers, beware: There are some messed up people scalping the PS5 on Facebook and Ebay.
