Would You Use An Umbrella To Practice Social Distancing?! #TerkiniWithNandini

today3 June 2020

Background

Social distancing is a term that has become our everyday life practice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but there are certain individuals who just simply don’t practice it. So, how far would you go to social distance?

In this episode of #TerkiniwithNandini Fly’s AM Mayhem and Nandini discuss how far would you go to practice social distancing?

Nandini and Fly’s AM Mayhem feel that people don’t realize that wearing a mask alone is not enough to curb the spread of COVID-19, social distancing still needs to be practiced at all times especially outside.

“I was so annoyed yesterday, I was out getting groceries right, and I was standing in the line and there was a lot of people, and I’m practicing social distancing yeah. This person behind me right, was standing so close to me, so i thought there was no space, so i moved, and every time i moved she came closer! I think a lot of people think that if you’re wearing a mask is enough protection! But it’s not!” – Nandini

People need to continue to practice social distancing till COVID-19 is completely gone. Fly’s AM Mayhem and Nandini might have some rather bizarre ways but it might just work!

“Maybe we should adapt this classroom in China they use this hats and then they attached this rulers so that you don’t come close to each other. You know that old Chinese emperor dynasty those hats that juts out on the sides. We need to have that!” – Hafiz

“Yes! I also saw that people in Kerala, India have been using their umbrellas! So they open their umbrellas to practice social distancing, so when you open it the next person is already like a meter away! And it’s easy, we all have umbrellas, I’m gonna do it!” – Nandini

In conclusion, continue practicing social distancing, wearing your mask is not enough!#KitaJagaKita
