“You didn’t even care about me” Demi Lovato Calls Out Ex Fiance Max Ehrich In New Song ’15 Minutes’

“Always puttin’ you first, could’ve been your future / But you didn’t even care about me like that,”

There’s one thing that Lovatics can always count on when singer Demi Lovato drops a single or an album is that you can pretty much relate to all the soul-bearing and honest lyrics that come with matching melodies, besides the fact that her vocal range is out of this world!

So it’s time to turn our attention to the singer’s recently dropped single 15 Minutes, which, yep, as you guessed it, the song appears to be about her ex-fiance Max Ehrich, who fans can never forget cried on the beach directly in front of paparazzi after their breakup. While the song doesn’t mention Max by name, the lyrics make things pretty clear. Just to name a few:

“Always puttin’ you first, could’ve been your future / But you didn’t even care about me like that,” Lovato sings in the first verse before belting through the chorus, “’Cause you were looking for 15 minutes, yeah. / And now you got 15 minutes, yeah.”

After Demi and Max’s very public split, the singer did speak about her then relationship with the actor in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, saying, “I really had myself fooled because it was the safe and expected thing. Obviously, I cared deeply about the person, but there was something inside of me that was like, I have to prove to the world that I’m okay. Now that I’m not engaged or married and I’m okay, I’m like, Wow. Isn’t that so much more empowering? It’s not this false sense of security.”
