Sigh. After being spotted by locals in popular town Byron Bay in New South Wales not long ago, reports even claimed that he has been looking to move there permanently. However, it seems that rumours of his permanent residency may be true, following rumours that Zac Efron actually has an Australian girlfriend, who he reportedly met during his time at the Bay.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Zac Efron, 32, was spotted returning to Byron Bay with a mystery woman after a cheeky getaway to Thredbo. After doing some digging like the stalker we are, we found out that the not-so-mystery-woman is Vanessa Valladares.Â
Although not much is known about Vanessa yet, she does have an Instagram page that she regularly updates with pics, like the ones below, and has shared professional modeling photos on a regular basis. She also shows off many pics from the beach, which seems to prove she loves getting her feet on the sand just like Zac is known to also love.

Apparently, the pair first met in July when Zac visited her workplace for a meal, and their romance blossomed from there. Neither Zac nor Vanessa has publicly confirmed their relationship yet, but it’s obvious that they’re enjoying spending time together. And the fact that her name is Vanessa… like… get it? Hmm.
