Breaking quarantine rules in Malaysia can now get you fined up to US$2,470

If you’re residing in Malaysia, you would have to fork out US$2,470 (RM10,000) in the event you’re caught flouting quarantine measures starting March 11, 2021.

With many parts of Malaysia still under strict quarantine measures, the government recently announced that it’ll increase the fine by 10 times from the previous US$247 (RM1,000).
