In a letter of correspondence published on The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), scientists say they may have found a link between COVID-19 infection and the onset of diabetes in patients battling the virus.
The findings are worrying enough to warrant the launch of an international database tasked with tracking this strange phenomenon.
