Ever since the Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul showdown, boxing has become more of a topic of conversation between sports fans. Despite the face-off not quite matching the expectations for fans, it managed to give birth to more prominent figures challenging each other to tussle in the ring.
Such as these two local talents. Sharing their conversation through Instagram messages, actor Aedy Ashraf called out YouTuber Isa Isarb for a showdown in the ring last Friday.
Kita nak fight dia, dia nak bg kita nasihat pulak. Anne teh tarik ikat tepi satu. pic.twitter.com/wkJS0Kc4nx

“We want to fight him, but suddenly he wants to advise us.”
Isa quoted the tweet with his own cheeky response.
Sabar la pakcik rambut biru. Sye faham.. ramai nak join event fight lepas tgok logan paul. Jgn la mengelupur sgt. Sye bnyak lgi urusan nk kene handle. Bgi sye setlekn dulu, tempias mco 3.0 kt syrikat sye. Awak pegi la training dulu.. biasa org ckp besar mcm awk kaku atas ring. https://t.co/9PCe1uT3LD

“Calm down blue-haired uncle. I understand, many want to join fighting events after watching Logan Paul. Don’t be so hasty. I have many other things to handle. Let me settle my duties first, The MCO has impacted my company. You go train first. Usually, it’s the ones who talk big like you who are suddenly awkward in the ring.”
In the photo, Aedy invites Isa for a boxing match, but the YouTuber instead advises the actor while proposing other ideas.
“We can make a big event just for us. Let me find a sponsorship and big broadcast.”
Netizens responded to Isa’s quote tweet, but with many of them teasing him.
“Lot’s of things to handle, what things? Inviting 5 cars to beat up one person?”

— teha (@ftsraa) June 25, 2021
“The problem is you also brought a whole gang to the futsal court the other day, who is the one who is awkward in the ring now?”
The cheeky responses are in reference to an incident that happened in a futsal court that involved Isa Isarb and his clan back in March 2021.
Going back to the message on Instagram, Isa proposed to have the showdown in a stadium after the lockdown ends so fans could experience the event as well.
Isa Isarb is a prominent YouTuber with over 2.18 million subscribers. Meanwhile, Aedy Ashraf is a local actor well known for his role in the television series Projek: Anchor SPM as Aizat.
