During Britney Spears’s explosive court hearing over her conservatorship via Page Six, the pop mega-star said she didn’t believe Paris Hilton when she spoke out about an abusive boarding school she attended and that’s why she’s kept quiet herself.
“To be honest with you, the Paris Hilton story on what they did to her at that school, I didn’t believe any of it. I’m sorry,” Spears told a judge during a virtual hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The pop star, 39, was referring to Hilton’s public allegations about the Provo Canyon School in Utah where she said she was abused by “evil and sadistic” staff as a teenager.

But the only reason she even brought it up was because she thought that, well, because she didn’t believe Hilton’s story, people wouldn’t believe her own story about what she deemed an “abusive” conservatorship.
“Mainly I didn’t want to say it openly because I honestly don’t think anyone would believe me,” Spears said.
“I’m an outsider and I’ll just be honest, I didn’t believe it and maybe I’m wrong and that’s why I didn’t want to say any of this to anybody to the public because I thought people would make fun of me or laugh at me and say, she’s lying, she’s got everything, she’s Britney Spears. I’m not lying. I just want my life back.”
Spears did not make it clear whether or not her stance on Hilton’s claims has changed since. Hilton, on the other hand, did not seem to take it personally, as observed from the tweets that she ‘liked’ using her Twitter account.
yall are dumb. Britney wasn’t dragging Paris. She was using her situation as an example. She was close to Paris for over a decade and I’m sure she meant it like “I knew this girl for years and didn’t believe what she said, so I knew people would have this same feeling about me”

Nowhere did she say “Dosen’t believe it” either. Again she used “didn’t” which is alluding to the fact that she didn’t believe in the story before. Paris is liking posts and understands what Brit is saying. Maybe you don’t understand what Britney’s trying to say and that’s ok.

Hilton claimed in her This Is Paris documentary, which was released in September 2020, that she was abused at Utah’s Provo Canyon School. She then testified about her alleged experience in February.

“I was verbally, mentally and physically abused on a daily basis,” she told the Utah Senate Judiciary, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee. “I was cut off from the outside world and stripped of all my human rights. I was not allowed to be myself.”
Let’s focus on supporting #FreeBritney and refrain from pitting these two women against each other!
