Cara Delevingne Recreates This Perfect Wardrobe Malfunction Moment On ‘Friends’

today21 May 2021

Hit sitcom series ‘Friends’ have recently announced their reunion to loud cheers from long-time fans, and model Cara Delevingne made a cheeky cameo at the reunion where she recreated the hilarious (and embarrassing) wardrobe malfunction which Jennifer Aniston’s character, Rachel, suffered.

True to her fashion model roots, the 28-year-old beauty turned the comical incident into a high-fashion look as the set was transformed into a runway for her to strut down in the same puffy pink bridesmaid dress that Rachel wore in an episode called ‘Barry and Mindy’s Wedding’, aired in 1996.

While up on the stage, Delevingne turned around to reveal that a piece of the dress malfunctioned and exposed her backside, akin to the situation that Rachel found herself in 25 years ago before.

Unlike Rachel, Delevingne didn’t look embarrassed at all. In fact, girlie was absolutely working it. In the show, however, the malfunction caused Rachel massive embarrassment before she ended the night by performing a cute little rendition of Barry Manilow’s song ‘Copacabana (at the Copa)’.

And no, Delevingne did not perform that song (although we wish she did), but her tribute was enough to incite a positive reaction out of Aniston who was seen with her hands clasped together (maybe she was even clapping).

All the original cast members could also be seen on the trademark Central Perk couch, such as Courtney Cox who played the uptight yet nurturing Monica Geller, Matthew Perry who played the jokester and funny man Chandler Bing, Lisa Kudrow who absolutely nailed the character of eccentric Phoebe Buffay, David Schwimmer who played the sensitive nerdy pants Ross Geller and Matt LeBlanc, who portrayed the handsome loverboy Joey Tribbiani.
