The 18-year-old driver was standing by his vehicle outside the Chelsea hotspot at around 4:50 a.m. when two men began punching him and attempting to yank off his $40,000 gold Cuban link chain, sources said.
When the driver refused to take off the pricey necklace, one of the muggers pointed a gun and fired a single shot into the ground, the sources said.

Richard Mille brand watches are a favorite among celebrities like tennis ace Rafael Nadal, Brazilian soccer star Neymar, martial arts wonder Jackie Chan, and actress Natalie Portman.
The 36-year-old Moroccan-American rapper whose real name is Karim Kharbouch is staying at the hotel at 355 West 16th Street, sources said, following the arrival of the Bronx rapper’s latest song and video for “FWMGAB,” or “F*** With Me Get a Bag,” with the visual set in New York.
