Our boy has been working so hard…
Most people know Jin as a member of the hit K-pop boyband BTS and his vocal prowess goes unnoticed. However, in a recent interview, Jin confessed that it takes him great lengths to get to where he is today.

When this K-Idol was scouted by Big Hit Entertainment (now known as Big Hit Music), he was an acting student at Konkuk University. Aged 19 at the time, the theatre major soon decided to audition for the company as an actor — but Big Hit Music had other plans for him, setting him onto a path to train as a star idol instead.
As Jin started from an acting background, he lacked experience in the singing and dancing department.
“It was true then and it still is true now,” he revealed, “That it does take more effort for me to do things that may come more naturally for the other members.”

Seeing how well he’s been performing, it’s hard to believe him!
But Jin insisted by saying,
“I lack in many areas.”
Despite jaw-dropping performances that constantly have fans floored, Jin explains that he has a harder time learning choreography than his fellow band members. For example, he revealed that other members are able to dance right away after learning the choreography just once — something he isn’t able to do.

“I do try to work harder so I don’t hold the other members back or be a burden,” he shared.
Not only that, he also said that he would come to dance practice an hour earlier than everyone else or stay an hour later in order to keep up with the rest of the group.
If his talents are not enough to get fans falling for him, the effort he makes to overcome his apparent shortcomings make him even more relatable and admirable!
