It looks like the Recording Academy is not taking Kanye’s nasty act to heart, as the rapper won yet another award at the 2021 Grammys.
The Runaway rapper had won his first Grammy award in eight long years, also in a category where he’s never been nominated before which is, Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, for his 2019 pivot to gospel Jesus Is King. The surprise win was announced during the Grammy Premiere Ceremony which fans were able to catch through live-streamed online prior to the televised event. The academy made it an option for winners to accept their awards virtually, Kanye however was not virtually present. This will mark his 22nd Grammy win and a whooping 70th nomination.

As fans would remember in September 2020, Kanye went on one of his many infamous Twitter rants, it was reported that he sent out over 100 tweets that day, some of which have since been deleted. But as we all know too well what goes on the internet, stays on the internet FOREVER, hence his inappropriate video of him seemingly urinating on his Grammy trophy remains on the web. Check his post down below, viewer discretion is advised:

Although West was not present to accept his Grammy, which BTW he won over Christian music legends like Hillsong Young & Free — so we just have to ask: Is he going to urinate on his award again? For Christian music? All we can do is keep our fingers crossed that no video pops up on Twitter. If we’re being honest it’s probably best he stays low-key this time, as he balances lawsuits over his opera Nebuchadnezzar and his ongoing divorce from Kim Kardashian.
