Joss Whedon has been steadily growing a long list of controversies since, well, forever. Recently, another one of his offences has come to light when he was accused of verbally abusing ‘Wonder Woman’ star, Gal Gadot.

Whedon began his career with an American sitcom television ‘Roseanne’, before making a hit with ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’. Despite depicting strong female leads in most of his work — ‘Buffy’, ‘The Avengers’, ‘Angel’, ‘Firefly’ — Whedon “does not practice what he preaches (in regards to feminism)” said his ex-wife, Kai Cole.
Justice League actor, Ray Fisher, cited that Whedon was “gross, abusive” on set while Charisma Carpenter of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and its spinoff ‘Angel’ fame, confirmed a long-time rumour that Whedon called her “fat” when she was four months pregnant.

Michelle Trachtenberg, who was only a teenager when she joined the cast of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ has also released a statement against Whedon.

She also commented on her own post, saying: “The last. Comment I will make on this. Was. There was a rule. Saying. He’s not allowed in a room alone with Michelle again.”
She did not provide further details.
Jose Melina, a writer of the science-fiction show ‘Firefly’ has also taken to Twitter to expose Whedon’s problematic behaviour.

Most recently, Whedon has reportedly threatened Gal Gadot by exploiting his power as the director, claiming that “she’s going to shut up” and say the lines, and that he can make her look “incredibly stupid” in the movie, said a witness.
Fans have also rallied against Whedon’s ‘Justice League’ with the hashtag #RestoreTheSnyderVerse on Twitter.
