Mr Stan has shown what he can do throughout a wide spectrum of range — from playing the borderline insane Mad Hatter in ‘Once Upon a Time’, to the dark and brooding warlock in ‘The Covenant’, and most notably the traumatised, brainwashed assassin ‘Bucky Barnes’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This time around, he’s flexing his chameleon-like ability by disappearing into the role of real-life rocker Tommy Lee.

He expressed his relief now that the world has seen his astounding transformation into the drummer of the legendary band Mötley Crüe.
“Honestly, it was freeing because I was walking around in these hoodies and hats,” he shared, recalling how he was “just paranoid of being seen” out in public or on-set.
He went on to say,
“I was like, ‘God, I hope they’re finally going to release something so you know what we look like, so we can go on with our lives.'”
The miniseries ‘Pam & Tommy’ focuses on the couple’s scandal in 1995, when their private honeymoon footage was leaked and became, well, pretty much the world’s first viral video.
No stranger to biopics, the Romanian-born actor had previously embodied Jeff Gillooly in the film ‘I, Tonya’, who was the mastermind behind the 1994 attack on figure skater Nancy Kerrigan. Both ‘I, Tonya’ and ‘Pam & Tommy’ share the same director — Craig Gillespie.
Lily James plays the other titular role of Pamela Anderson, while an unrecognisable clean-shaven Seth Rogen plays Rand Gauthier, the electrician who stole the couple’s videotape.

Stan has also recently shared a short clip of himself playing the drums on his Instagram account, teasing his new drumming skills.

Fans are dying to see how this series will pan out and just how closely it will portray the real-life scandal that once rocked the world.
