Over the past years, Neelofa has been making headline after headline. Last year, there was a scandal involving her being allegedly “spelled” into secretly marrying celebrity preacher PU Riz, and then transferring a sum of money to him.

This has caused Neelofa to plead for the public to stop jumping to conclusions. She was quoted as saying,
“So, I’m asking all of you to stop these speculations because it will only worsen the matter.”
This time around, Neelofa has once again caused an uproar due to her interstate travel to Pulau Langkawi. As we all know, interstate travelling is strictly prohibited as a part of the Covid-19 SOP. As a result, the public feels that Neelofa is being given special treatment due to her financial as well as celebrity status. However, in an Instastory uploaded yesterday, Neelofa decided to dispel the rumours floating about and explain the real situation. She alludes that the Langkawi trip with her husband is purely a business matter, which is allowed based on the latest Covid-19 SOP guideline.
“Calm down everyone out there. It hasn’t even launched yet and we’re already getting free marketing and attention from the whole country. God has the best plans,” she said in the Instastory video.
As explained by a popular food and beverage company in Malaysia, the celebrity couple are in Langkawi to visit three locations in the northern region such as Sungai Petani and Langkawi, Kedah as well as Kangar, Perlis to open up a new branch.
We should all probably take a pointer or two on how Neelofa is currently one of the leading entrepreneurs of our country. Such an inspiration!
