As of now, we have no idea as to how the squad will be handling everything that happened in the season seven finale, however, what we do have is the first glimpse at what Jake (played by Andy Samberg) and Amy (portrayed by Melissa Fumero) look like as parents!
The new season will kick off with two back-to-back episodes, with new episodes airing every Thursday. Reprising their roles are Terry Crews (who plays gentle giant Lt. Terry Jeffords), Joe Lo Truglio (who plays the hopelessly hardworking Det. Charles Boyle), Stephanie Beatriz (the tough and secretive Rosa Diaz), while Joel McKinnon Miller and Dirk Blocker will return as veteran officers Det. Scully and Det. Hitchcock.

The team behind Brooklyn Nine-Nine wasn’t just affected by the COVID-19 pandemic – star Terry Crews said it was also greatly hindered by the murder of George Floyd by police officer Derek Chauvin. Luckily, it wasn’t too long until fans got season 7 and it looks like it won’t be too long of a wait until we get season eight!
