At long last!
Former child star Lindsay Lohan has returned to mainstream films and this time, it’s a Netflix Christmas rom-com. Some of her previous rom-coms include Labor Pains where she pretends to be pregnant in order to keep her job and Just My Luck, which features British rock band McFly.
The popular streaming platform has multiple original Christmas films such as Jingle Jangle, A Christmas Prince, The Christmas Chronicles and The Princess Switch (which is reminiscent of Lohan’s older work, The Parent Trap).

As tweeted by Netflix, Lohan is set to play a rich heiress who wakes up to a completely different life after her memories were wiped due to an accident. The rest of the cast is yet to be unannounced.
Yet another victim of stardom-infested childhood, Lohan’s promising acting career (she used to sing, too!) took a dramatic turn when she fell down a rabbit hole full of disastrous relationships, addictions, rehabs, jail time, and an eating disorder. Her relationship with her father contributed to many of her troubles, who was arrested numerous times and used to abuse her mother, Dina Lohan.
“Lindsay saw her dad abuse me—that’s why she’s so screwed up,” Lohan’s mother said.
Lohan depicted her childhood trauma in the heart-wrenching music video for her song, “Confessions of a Broken Heart” from her album A Little More Personal. The little girl in the ballerina outfit is played by her baby sister, Aliana Lohan.
We are so proud to see that Lohan has managed to turn her life around for the better, and hope to see her career flourish to reach the potential it once held.
