I don’t know Rick, looks fake to me.
Becoming successful is no easy task. It takes sacrifice and commitment towards your passion or business. To add to that, most journies are considered a marathon. Almost nothing happens overnight unless you are truly lucky.
Malaysians were quick to call out this business, that seemed ‘shady’ from the promotional video shared on social media. Twitter user @cheucensantuy shared the video where netizens surely had a mouthful to say about it.

The tweet is captioned, “MLM boys bragging that they can open a new office for their team, but they can’t even afford their own suit. It’s already the third MCO and (they’re) still doing stupid businesses, believing in hoaxes.”
The 31-second video shows the boy giving a tour around a, well, practically empty office? At one moment, he shows a room where his colleagues are even sitting on the carpet floor.

The video ends with him shaking hands with a group of his colleagues.

And that really is all there is to it. There is no indication of whether their business is a product or service-related organization. The user who shared the video on Twitter continued to rant on their thread.

“Try finding what on search these “echovengers” are doing, what business. So idiotic, how many more kids are they going to scam, who knows what product they’re selling. I’m so angry, their main target is definitely students, and then they start to overclaim this and that.”
He shares another video that he recorded from the company’s Instagram story.

“Evaluate this idiot for yourself. He said the business is related to using Instagram, Whatsapp, and all social media platforms. With a modal of 350, but can reach profits up to 10k. He’s emphasizing that he’s not a scammer, criticizing others, but he is the same species, just with rebranding. Idiot.”
He continued to break down the business in the thread, but he ended it with a word of advice for everyone.

“You guys have to remember, we’re all struggling during this MCO, looking for income. We all want money, but the way to get it, come on bro, there are free platforms out there to get financial business-related knowledge. Think it through. Don’t regret and turn over a new leaf only when you’ve been cheated or failed.”
Most netizens who watched the video agreed that nobody should fall for these sort of businesses.
“I say let the kids learn about these scams at an early age so they won’t fall for it when they’re older and get scammed of their retirement funds of thousands.”

Popular figures on Twitter also shared their two cents. Including author and editor Ad-Dien.
“7 similarities of the operations for scammers:
- Claiming success at a young age.
- Claiming easy work.
- Claiming profits that don’t make sense.
- Not selling a product.
- Taking photos in front of fancy cars.
- Taking photos wearing blazers.
- Getting rich easily.

We are all looking to stay afloat now, especially with the total lockdown currently executed but don’t find yourself falling for shady businesses promising easy money. It’s better to work hard for money than take the easy way out and regret it in the near future.
