“Pray that the child is okay.”
A video from a dashcam showing a few children crossing a road in Klang has gone viral after one of the children is seen being hit by a car.
The accident that occurred in Kampung Delek Kanan saw the child in critical condition after being hit by what seemed to be a Perodua Kembara.
The 1-minute video that was shared by Twitter user @My_Crimewatch has almost 200,000 views at the time of writing, and we must warn you, isn’t for the faint of heart.
Netizens were shocked to see the footage, most of them hoping and praying that the child is okay following the accident. However, they were more inclined towards blaming the parents for negligence.

This user said, “Parents who are neglecting them here, that’s a big road so probably the Kembara was going at 80kkm per hour and its normal.”

“Agree. How can the parents take the easy way out when it comes to children crossing the street. Regret is useless now.”
Agree?

Following the questioning of how the child’s condition was, a fellow netizen shared an Instagram story showing the situation.

According to the caption, the victim is 4 years old and her condition is critical involving injured organs. The child also has internal bleeding in the brain.
They continued to explain that their brother was intended to throw rubbish from the house but since she was hardworking, she wanted to help.
We’d like to remind all parents out there to always keep an eye out for their children especially when they are outside of the house. It only takes a second for a disaster to happen. You can make a difference.
