
A recent Twitter post has gone viral after an account user under the name @Fuzirbarry, shared a clip of a Malaysian woman of Malay ethnicity, speaking in fluent mandarin on a National TV news channel!

The TV news anchor on the short video is Rasyidah Abu Johan. According to a media news portal, Rasyidah attended Chinese school from standard 1- 6 and from form 1-6.

The news portal also said that before becoming a news anchor, the 32-year old worked as a journalist at a Chinese desk.
The dream to become a news anchor didn’t quite come from her, but her parents who dreamed for her to read the news on TV!
