YouTube Star Jake Paul’s House Raided By FBI
Jake Paul is under investigation.
The YouTube stars’ home in Calabasas, Calif. was searched by the FBI on Aug. 5, under a search warrant.
According to an FBI statement, the raid is part of an ongoing investigation related to “allegations of criminal acts surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020.”
The reason for the sudden raid is still unknown. The 23-year-old star has not spoken publicly nor shared any posts on social media since Aug. 2.
However, Paul’s attorney came out with a statement saying “We understand that a search warrant was executed at Jake’s Calabasas home this morning while Jake was out-of-state. We are still gathering information and will cooperate with the investigation.”
A large group of FBI’s in uniform and gear were seen outside his home. More than 20 vehicles were estimated to have driven onto Paul’s property.
The search comes just two weeks after the YouTuber held a big party at his home without social distancing or face masks.
